Dan Rather asks the hard hitting questions

I found this amusing. The intro is lame but Dan Rather and his crew have a very serious 20 minute discussion on to wear or not wear a coat and Rather keeps bringing it back up. Anyway this is journalism at its finest.

They need to be talking about this goddamn belt trend.

I think it is time to let go the anger associated with the belt trend Adam. It is a losing battle.

i saw that on tv the other night as well.

it made me laugh when he talked about how the jacket gave a "wind-blown" effect. cause, you know, that adds to journalistic credibility.

You would think it's time to let go. What if the U.S. had given up on WW II during the Battle of the Bulge Kasey? What if the soldiers at Iwo Jima said, "Aw fuck it when they realized the shit they were in?" What if Democrats had resigned themselves to another loss in the 2006 midterms?

The battle of the needless belt shall continue. My tireless pursuit to eliminate needless accessories and clothing that requires them shall not cease. Do you really want the Bedazzler to be mainstream Kasey; is that what you want?

So besides your incessent bitching do you have any other strategy to eleminate the belt because I don't see any results from the current strategy. Thats all I am saying.

No, incessant bitching is the keystone.

I'm too lazy to actually work my way into the fashion industry in order to change things from the inside out.

So, the best I can do is try to convince my close friends not to give into the trend.

i'm going to start carrying a belt in my back pocket, with just the buckle hanging out for the world to see.

I think for Halloween, I'm just gonna put as many belts on as I possibly can.

i'm going to start pretending i need a cane. you know, for the world to see.
