Man, for being such a bitchy whiner, he has pretty thin skin. That bit about the watch didn't even seem like a criticism of him!

And I love the hypocrisy of saying that he never promotes anything while at the same time showing and mentioning the Michael Jackson paper dolls booklet.

He's the last of a generation who in their younger days did some very difficult and dangerous things (see: WW II) who think that earns them the right to deflect criticism in such a condescending manner.

I've seen several instances where that man basically says, "Yeah, it's my opinion, and it might be stupid, but it's mine," as if that makes it okay to syndicate it in a column and on a national television show. Stupid.

And I would never go by M. Titus. That's way to latin for me. :-P

I don't think the thing about the watch was a criticism, just a comment. Back in the day when I wore a watch, that how I wore it, and on my right, which I guess you aren't supposed to do if you are left handed, or the opposite, can't remember, I'm getting old.

Hey, maybe I can be the next Andy Rooney.

But what I wanted to say is that I thought it was funny that he ended up pitching the Michael Jackson cutout dolls, even if he was just showing them to make fun of the idea. I bet they got a couple sales and a couple blog posts just from him. Why, back in my day if we were going to not pitch a product, we would show close-ups of the product as we chanted slogans while crushing a pile of that product with a bulldoser to save the innocence of children everywhere. I guess people just don't care like they did in my day.

He did seem to get awfully defensive about that watch, for no apparant reason other than he is a crotchety old man. Oooh maybe he will talk about this blog post in his next segment;)

He does get a lot of fan mail though so obviously everyone loves him and he should still continue to spew his ramblings. Until Justin takes over.
